Permission & Location recce shots

Permission of our locations:
Location 1:

In our original pitch we decided to brainstorm ideas as we didn't have much ideas for where we wanted to film our music video. We suggested many urban places and many woodlands as we felt confident that locations such as a park or on a street would fit perfectly well into our track. 

For one of our locations in our music video we planned to film a part on a roof top to add to the rebellion mood of an indie rock band, for that we sent an email for permission to be able to film on there rooftop. We found this suitable for one of our locations as it's nearby but yet appropriate. I feel that this location is ideal for our music video video as our track which we have chosen is by an rebellious indie rock band which i find that Stapleford fits into that genre perfectly as Stapleford is known for trouble and gangs of teenagers also representing the working class.

Unfortunately we had a reply  from the co-up which wasn't the answer that we wanted which is shown below. From this we then decided to look into other music videos and came to the conclusion to change our roof top location to another which we have decided it to be at Attenborough Nature Reserve. The reply which we received from Co-Op is shown below:

Location 2:
After planning and talking to my partner about the performance of our other character in our music music we have decided to film her performance at Attenborough nature reserve as we find that there is a lot of space and location we are able to work with and because it's so big there is no way we are able to get in public way. Below is an image of the location that we have chose for some of our shots and the email we sent an email in order to get permission in order to film there.

Location 3:
Another of our main locations is in Georges shed where the bands practice session will be filmed but as it's one of the lad's shed who is in the band we didn't find it necessary to ask for permission officially. We have also decided that we are going to film not only in George's shed where we will be filming one of the 2 practice locations but on top of that we have decided we are going to use his alley way and his house as one of our establishing shots at the beginning of the video. Below are some images in which where this location is:

In the image above is the view of the front of the house where Jordan will be walking down. We have decided that an establishing shot at the beginning of the video will look good as it will establish the location that it isn't actually a professional practice place but in fact a practical little space.

Above is the alley way in which Jordan will walk down and we will film him front on whilst he is walking towards the camera in a mid shot.

The image above is a picture of the shed which is where the band will be having a band practice but from the outside. We still have not decided which angle of the shed we will be filming Jordan walk in, but we have jotted down that we may do a close up shot of when he opens the padlock, we find this will look good as a padlock shows rebellion.

Above is an image of inside of the shed, obviously we will be cleaning and moving parts around to make the area bigger but we find that this area is an ideal space for filming. Whilst filming this part we have decided that we will do numerous of angles from different places within this location whilst the band goes through the whole song as we find that therefore we will have a lot of footage. For the lighting within this location will be the only location that we will need to arrange. We have planned as a pair that we may need to get some coloured lights or spotlights but we still have this to finalize as we want to see what looks more appropriate.
