After research on story boarding and deciding on our narrative we then went onto planning our story board. We declared that we wasn't going to write up every shot of our music video as we found that we would end up changing our mind when we are at the location with our actors. Instead we have decided as shown below to only do our main important shots within the video.
From when we did our storyboard we have decided to change the first shot which is in fact going to be an establishing shot of where the practicing shed is which is location 1. We have done this to establish the first location for our audience and help them recognize the urban feel of our video. With the beginning of our video we have declared we also going to do a shot of when the first performer gets dropped off in the car. We then decided that we are going to do numerous shots within this opening shots whilst the performer walks to the shed, we think this will look good as it will build up tension toward there actual practice within the shed. We also have planned we want to do shots of them tuning there guitars etc and having a laugh as they're a stereotypical young boy band. Within this location we have talked about having bottles and cans of beer on the floor with also involving the performers smoking which helps with there mise-en scene. Also within our storyboard as we only was brief it doesn't explain much abotu our different locations. For instance we have decided that instead of using a roof top because we didn't get permission we have decided to film in a field of the band performing also as we fin that it will link well in with our third location which is at Attenborough Nature Reserve which is where we will be filming parts of the female role.
Below are all 5 of our storyboards we have drew up:
